Stonepoint is an autonomous, biblically based fellowship, led by a plurality of elders who seek to honor God's Word, and train, develop, and deploy fully-devoted followers of Christ into the workplace and world.

The Trinity
We believe in one triune God, eternally existent in three distinct persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

God, The Father
God the Father is the architect of heaven and earth. By His word and for His glory, He freely and supernaturally created the world from nothing. Through the same Word, He daily sustains all His creatures. He rules over all and is the only Sovereign. His plans and purposes cannot be thwarted. He is faithful to every promise, works all things together for good to those who love Him, and in His unfathomable grace gave His Son Jesus Christ for mankind's redemption. He made man for fellowship with Himself, and intended that all creation should live to the praise of His glory.

Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, is the eternal Word made flesh, supernaturally conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary. He is perfect in nature, teaching, and obedience. He is fully God and was fully man. He was always with God and is God. Through Him all things came into being and were created. We believe that He lived a perfect, sinless life, died on the cross as the substitutionary atonement for man. He was buried, resurrected on the third day, and is coming again for all who believe in Him.

The Holy Spirit
We believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit who indwells every Christian for the purpose of living a God-reflective life.

Humanity
We believe the human race is sinful and separated from God and therefore must experience the work of Christ by faith in order to have a relationship with God. All people are separated from God by their sinful nature until they trust Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Salvation is from God and by God, not by works so no one can boast.

The Bible
We believe in the authority and inerrancy of Scripture. We believe that the Bible is the final authority on beliefs and behavior. Therefore, the Bible is the center of our teaching and preaching at Stonepoint Church.

The Church
We believe that the church is the body of Christ and is to be about His work of making disciples of Christ in the world.

Ordinances
We believe that water baptism by immersion and the Lord's Supper are the only ordinances of the church.

Stewardship
We believe that biblical stewardship involves the proper management of everything that God has given us (time, money, abilities, etc.) in order to expand His kingdom. Therefore, we encourage every member to adopt a lifestyle of stewardship and a recognition that God owns everything that we possess. We ask people to practice the biblical principle of generosity to help support the work of the local church.
