Just For Kids
We know that there is little more important to a parent than their kids. That knowledge and the fact that God feels the same way, push us every day to make sure that kids are among our top priorities.
We have TWO GOALS for kids:
We want every kid to love God!
We want every kid to love church!
It is our practice to not allow kids (5th grade and under) into the adult worship theater. We are confident that if your child attends their age appropriate class, they will learn to love God and love the church. If we permitted kids into the adult worship area, we are almost guaranteed they will NOT learn anything about God and be bored in church. We take our responsibility to your children seriously. If your child does not want to go to their class, then you are encouraged to attend with your child. In doing so, you will both learn to love God and love the church. In addition, this allows us to encourage you as the spiritual leader of your kids.
We have 3 theaters just for kids!
Nursery age (birth-2yrs.) will have a theater that will be divided in half --one side for walkers and one side for crawlers. Each Sunday we lay our own carpet down on the floor of the theater and place clean toys and Pack N' Plays. We have experienced moms and some dads providing for your baby.
Preschool age (3yrs.-Kindergarten) children will sing songs, make crafts, watch a puppet show, play games and watch a story up on the big screen.
When you bring your elementary age child (1st-5th), something funny happens. You both don't want to leave. Something about the videos on the big screen, music, games and high energy lessons appeals to the kid in all of us. While you are welcome to stay and enjoy, you will also feel secure to enjoy a service designed for you knowing that your kid is enjoying the best hour of their week.
What about security? When you come into the lobby of the cinema, you will register your children at the registration table. You can grab some donuts and juice sit at one of the cafe tables and then when you're ready follow the signs to one of the three theaters where your kids will go. But make sure you have your child's registration card and security tag. We have closed off the hallway to any person who does not have a security tag. Your tag will be checked at the checkpoint in the hallway and again in the theater where you can drop off/pick up your child.
We require ALL volunteers to have a legal background check completed by the Coweta County Sheriff's Department. |
